Present-day Clay United Methodist Church, which was formerly called Shiloh. Shiloh was the church my ancestors, George and Nancy Taylor, helped found when they came to the Chalkville area of Alabama following the War of 1812.The three circuit riding brothers, William, Harris, and Isaac, came out of this Methodist Society.
Several of the descendants (Taylors and Selfs) are buried in this graveyard.
